Forums - Nintendo - Has anyone else seen somebody acting really dumb with their game system?

Yesterday I saw what is perhaps the stupidest group of kids in the world. I was at the wave pool and the waves were on and their were two kids in the water playing their DSi's. One kid even took pictures of the other with his DSi. The waves were on and the two kids were being moved back and fourth and water splashing up near their DS's. I wanted to go over two the two kids and ball them out for treating their DS's so poorly but decided not to make a scene. I'm sure a few splashes hit their DS's they could have fried the systems easily not to mention I bet they could have gotten shocked in the process.

Has anyone else seen kids or adults being completely moronic with their handhelds or home consoles? I mean who's stupid enough to play DS while swimming in a pool with the waves on?

Once my cousin actually used his PS2 to dtand on it and reach a higher shelf... the thing made a loud cracking noise, so he jumped down from it. After that it never read DVDs again :|

Wgy I didnt say anything? I was drunk as hell and laughing all the time

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

I've seen a kid asking for Pokemon for PSP at a local store and then destroying it on the floor when he learnt that it was only available on other console.

Thats was a pissed of kid.

I once put my soda-soaked GameCube in water because my asshole friend spilled pop all over it. And since it wasn't going to work anyways, why not?

Way back someone used a Screwdriver as a stylus for there DS, they of course broke the screen.

I dropped my Gameboy Color in a pool of water as a kid.

It made the D-pad stop working.

So I came up with the genious soloution of running it through the dryer.

After lots of bonks and clonk sounds later, I got it out and tested it.

D-pad was still not working, so I let it dry off for four hours and tested it again.

It worked flawlessly and still does to this day.

I love old Nintendo hardware <3

I LOVE ICELAND!

Yeah, Sony and the psp

My friend once was playing GTA4 on the 360, and he had to move the console off the shelf. He moved it while it was still on. Next thing you know, I hear a scratching noise.

I think you wanted to bawl them out; balling them out would probably be illegal.

OT: I know a dude who threw his 360 in the closet a couple of years ago and only plays PS3 now. What a fucking retard.
