they have tried a bunch of Pokemon games in different genres pokepark, pokemon snap, pokemon dungeon games and others and they all sucked Pokemon is Pokemon and that is how it should stay until Nintendo are ready to make an MMO, which should have the same style battles as mainline Pokemon, if you want to see them fight in real time go play Super smash bros. You want something different play something different there is nothing really special about the majority of pokemon there is no real reason to make spinoffs in different genres except cashing in on the name...

Thats just not true, Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia is tied with Gold as the very best of the Pokemon games.

Besides new doesn't mean shite.

IMO the battle system doesn't need changing, it's the rest of the 'cookie cutter'.  I'm talking about things like gyms, team ..., the elite four, etc.  I would far prefer the 6th gen to shake them up rather than the battle system (I haven't really been keeping up with B/W, so as far as I know they could have change some of those).

The simplistic battle system is what make pokemon so attractive, everybody understands it.  At the same time, Pokemon is also the more 'hardcore' RPG I've ever played, due to IVs, EVs, etc.

I would care, but i gave up on pokemon. The gameplay just gets boring after facing the elite 4 for 100 hours -_-

For years Nintendo has been ignorant towards the way they have handled their Pokemon properties.  I have always been a fan of their cartoon show and I still am. I only watch the first seasons as the current ones suck. 

i stopped reading after this bullshit

the current seasons are far better than the old crappy horrible voiced pokemon seasons with repetitive as hell scripts.
