Seeing how you apparently haven't had a Pokemon game or how you are more PS3 biased I don't really care what you say. Current Ash sounds eccentric and Pokemon anime isn't as funny as it was back then. Many will agree with me on this. 

How is that a bad idea? Anything is possible in today's technological world.

and ashe sounds better now, he used to be all "HAI GUYZ LETZ HAVE A POKEMON BATTLE!!!" and misty's voice makes me want to go to sleep.

Dawn is much better character than Misty , Misty was a stereotypical girl who doesn't know anything because shes a girl , while Maye and Dawn develop a lot so does Ashe he grew up a lot, he was very streotyipcal in the first two seasons.

As for Pokemon games they're the perfect handheld RPG games, the formula sure needs a bit of a change , namely the battle animations because they don't exist even with today's technoligy plus the pokemon sounds are intentionaly midi but i think that should also change, but other than those it should NEVER be an action RPG , it will lose all the grinding and fun of the formula and will also not be addictive.

That is unfortunately true, the sales dont accurately represent how good a series the 'Pokemon Ranger' games are. Although to be fair they haven't been terrible sales if you look at it, although nowhere near the main series games . Pokemon Ranger 2.08M(238 weeks without data on EMEAA), Shadows of Almia 2.2m(144 weeks)  and Guardian Signs 883K (42 weeks). Bearing in mind that each game had a roughly 30 week window from the Japanese release to the US/EU release.

But my point was that, sure, some of the Pokemon spin off games have been crap but some have also been good and that Nintendo shouldn't be phased off from trying to innovate with the series. Infact that is pretty much the beauty of spin off games, because they are never going to realitsicly reach the same amount of people as the main series developers can be experimental in design choices, which may then lead to them adding new features into the main series making it probably more fun.

Spirit Tracks was a failure. It was a culmination of how low the Zelda series have fallen. Windwaker and Twilight Princess have sold  more than it with a smaller userbase to boot. Compare the first Zelda to Spirit Tracks and you'll be scratching your head trying to find out where the similarities are. Then, compare Super Mario Bros and New Super Mario Bros Wii. Very similar, yet both of them were very successful. If any Nintendo series has a much-needed change, it is Zelda.

As for Pokemon, they should only try to do it as a spin-off. Nothing else. And rarely do spin-offs take off (Mario Kart is a very good exception to the rule) My real gripe with Pokemon is the fact that Nintendo released three Generations (if you count the Gold/Silver remake) in a span of 4 years. Yet, contrary to my gripe, they still sell very well.

I've waited for years for an open world Pokemon game on consoles. I bought every Nintendo system in the hope they'd pull through, but the closest they've ever gotten was the rubbish that is Pokemon Stadium. I honestly wish some other publisher had the Pokemon IP, they'd actually try and do something different with it, instead of releasing the same hand held game every couple of years and then chucking some mini game collection on to the consoles every once in a while.
