Everyone has their own tastes. Personally I'm not a big fan of CoD, MGS or Uncharted, but CoD sells like Crazy and UC2 and MGS4 are the best rated PS3 exclusive.

Mass Effect 2 was an improvement in almost everything over Mass Effect 1. The main story may not have been as good, but the side stories, along with polish and gameplay have all seen improvements. Also starting the game with the main character dying, that was cool.
