Not 100% sure if the book comes with it. 99% positive it does for your spells and stuff but I could be wrong.

I AM sure though, that Ninokuni is going to be awesomeeeeee

Looking at the image at 0:12 in the video, yes, the book does come with the game. I'm unable to discern exactly, but I want to say it's called 'Magic Master'. However, the left part of the image has the standard game case, the book, and a box sized to hold both, so I really can't see it not being included.
