COD MW2 PS3:  3.83m

COD MW2 PS3:  3.69m

Halo 3: 3.02m

 

What he'sa saying is, GT5 will clear those. I'm inclined to believe that looking at what GT does over there.

Probably.... but it is by no means a certainty.    The biggest genre in EMEAA is now shooters too.

GT4 is the highest selling GT in EMEAA, and no shooter this gen has cleared it.



ffs... I didnt bring halo into this conversation... someone else said halo3 isnt big in EMEAA... thats bollocks. Nowhere do I say GT isnt big and nowhere do I say it wont outsell halo, I actually say it will.

I was refering to how do you define ''big''. The reason i compared possible GT5 sales in Americas to Halo in EMEAA was to point out that you can't say a game isn't big in one region because it sales less then it does in it's most popular region.

You said GT5 wouldn't be big in America, witch started this discussion. Now GT5 will probably do 2 million at the least LTD in America, witch is a good number for any  videogame, and it doesn't matter that it will sell much more in EMEAA.

The same goes for Halo. Compared to America Halo isn't so big in EMEAA for example, but on it's own 2-3 million in one region is outstanding.

By big I mean Halo big seeing as many people on this site were comparing the two.


You've got the wrong idea. What Halo does in the US, GT does in (possibly a bit more) EMEAA and Japan. What GT does in NA, Halo does (plus a bit more) in EMEAA

would could be fraction of the sales

as long a reviews are solid (probably will be)

not to mention its Black friday ( holiday season), it should pull a L4D2 (for 2010)
