People like Snfr, Hero_time and Whatever should be banned from this section, they make nothing but wortless posts.

That's coming from the guy who's posted 2 off topic posts telling people to shut up and get out? lol Get a grip. If you can't handle people posting negative stuff you should take a look at Legend11's post history. See if you think he should be banned too.

OT:
It's way late into the generation. The 360 disc space problems shouldn't be around for too long now, and next generation I see them adopting Blu-ray.

The one problem I see from it, is when Multiplat games are cut short on the PS3 side simply because the developer wants to keep things equal. So annoying!! Even on exclusives (Or timed in this case) Mass Effect 2 also required 2 discs.

And BTW, it's not only 3rd parties having this problem on the 360. Forza 3 has 2 discs, doesn't it?

What wrong with them expressing there opinion on the matter? Your post seems much more worthless then their post anyways.

Ok back on topic I don't really think its that much of a big issue since they could always just use a second dvd, there's really no need to compress anything unless 2 dvd cost more then a bluray. There's really no point in the xbox adapting bluray this gen, they could just put it in next gen which I think will come in a couple of years probably.

pretty senseless debate since it's unthinkable that any console manufacturer would increase the limit of their chosen main media.

It's just not possible since it would make all previous consoles worthless for future games and no company would develop a game when only newcomers could play it.

As I said before, Blu-Ray add-on or even built in at one time is no problem, but only for movies. Games will never come out on Blu-Ray on the 360.

Simple solution: Take 2 DVD's. May be hard for sandbox games, but easily doable for linear ones.

Also when your game is roughly 6 hours long, has no multiplayer and not the best graphics on the console you definitely did something wrong if you think that it might not fit on a DVD9. (RE5 did)

BTW I did some research. The NTSC version of Vanquish comes with 6 languages. Not only subtitles but also voice overs and is only 6GB in size, so there is definitely room for more.

I could care less about that, all I care about is the blatant ------ that plague this forum.

If they had put a Blu-ray in the new Xbox 360 S it would have killed new PS3 sales.  Other than God of War and a few others, I doubt anyone would bother with the PS3.  (Not to knock it, it's a fine, and innovative system, but Blu-ray is one of Sony's big advantages.)  Granted that the Xbox has been selling so well this year without a Blu-ray player.   If it had a Blu-ray it would be even more impressive.

I really like my Blu-ray player.  But with HD streaming, I don't need or use it much.  Only for the rare movie that I think really needs it and deservest the best quality.  Plus, I don't understand why they never put the HD DVD in the Xbox in the first place.

With Netflix 1080P streaming soon (at @ 10MB/s) there really isn't much of a need for a Blu-ray anymore.  (Also Zune HD at 1080P with 5.1 surround) I would give my Blu-ray  Player to my beautiful sister.  It would make her happy, but as most things she watches are streaming now, I doubt it would get much use.

I think more things will just use online connectivity in the future.  With 17 mb/s common on fiber optic quality can only get better as conectivity switches to 'the cloud.'

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

I don't know if Blu-ray is the future, but I consider the small storage that DVD's have pretty much as the cancer of this generation. Never liked the GTA games, but one of the reasons that GTA4 had less content than San Andreas was probably because they wanted to fit everything into a ridiculous DVD.

Well, atleast they did there job right for the PS3 version of Star Ocean. No disc swapping if I want to visit a planet and I have the option to listen to the language I want to hear. :)

Shame it's one of the few exceptions.

For the record, no one is denying that Bluray is superior and we are all aware of the advantages. But it made the PS3 a failure.

It was too expensive, the masses looked elsewhere, and now the PS3 is deep in the red. What advantages have we really seen from Bluray games? Sharper movies and no disc swaps? If Sony could redo the PS3 I guarantee it wouldn't have Bluray.

I don't really care about the Xbox 360, but the thing I hate about the limited DVD space is when devolopers have the option to include a Japanese voice track for the PS3 version and don't include the track because they want to keep both versions the same.

It happened with FFXIII and it recently happened again with Sengoku Basara 3.

If you have the option just do it, negate the others. It's not the fault of the PS3 that the others are using a dated storage disc.

Why would you even want that anyways??

Do you actually speak japanese, I highly doubt you do, So whats the point

I hope there's an option to install the game on your hard drive.
