How much hardware do you think Kirby's Epic Yarn is going to boost?

None 7 21.88%

100 2 6.25%

1k-10k 9 28.13%

It will bomb and hurt Wii Sales 1 3.13%

11k-30k 6 18.75%

31k- to infinity and beyond 7 21.88%

Total:32

Since it is launching in the Americas/Japan next week, (no EMEAA), I think it will boost 20k-40k. Don't be afraid to show us your magic crystal ball either.

In Japan I can realistically see a boost, but everywhere else it is really a toss up. Since wii is slowly rising in EMEAA (wait is kirby even coming out this year for EMEAA?), and I have no idea what trends are in the NA.

Edit: I think 6k in Japan, and at least 5k-10k in NA, and possible something similar to EMEAA.

It's not going to give a significant boost in any region, not in the short-term. Kirby is a series that fills out libraries and helps maintain sales levels, rather than being a driver of growth.

While I agree with your statement, don't you think it will boost wii sales in Japan?

zero. Honestly apart of Wii Party, none of the fall releases has the potential to significantly boost wii sales.

Unless Nintendo comes out with a genius marketing for Donkey Kong.

Not really, no. Kirby has about the same level of impact in all regions.

It's going to put Wii in firts next week and all weeks after! 33K push next week!

Above: still the best game of the year.

Close to zero hardware impact.

If you were allowed to market to small kids, now that would be a different story :P
