According to Amazon, the DS is in 30th plance.

So I guess that means the DS is selling poorly, right?

Sales should be good for PS3 this week with Singstar and Uncharted launching. However, Amazon is not indictive of sales. Amazon = irrelevant.

@jhlennon

Thats next week....

True but it clearly shows 40 sku isn't percieved as a gimped model anymore. It's even more interesting when you consider situation in US. Today for example 40 gb sku outsold 60 gb model on amazon.com

@ darthdevidem )

it's "this week" , but it's not in the numbers we get "this week"

Just noticed that SMG, Zapper, Wii Play, Sight Training, MPDS and BBA(Wii) are sold out on Amazon UK too.

 off topic.

yeah, like I said, it is only Hardcore gamers who care about BC, not casuals/normal (whatever you call them) gamers.

The 40GB PS3 is now the same price as the PS2 was when it launched, it has a much better line up now then the PS2 had when it launched. Expect big sales for the PS3 this Christmas and beyond in Europe.
