Yeah I hate when people bring up handhelds when we're having a discussion on console sales. You can't compare handheld sales to console sales. There are only 2 handhelds to choose from compared to 3 for consoles and also they are much cheaper.

My opinion is that you have a view of games that's way, way, waaaaaaaaay too narrow. if you hinge your idea of legitimacy for a platform based on its technical power then you've effectively annihilated 5 generations of gaming from the canon, which is ludicrous.

I never said that my impression of a game was from a technical standpoint.
So your saying, if you looked at crysis then looked at doom, you wouldnt realize the graphical difference.

They are. 

One is a home console and the other is a handheld console. They're both consoles! 

It's like saying a cellphone is not a phone because it's portable. They still serve the same function, just like both handhelds and home consoles serve the same function: gaming.
