Handhelds are not Consoles..

Yes they are. 130 53.72%

The newer ones are. 8 3.31%

Dunno. 3 1.24%

No they arent. 80 33.06%

I Dont care. 21 8.68%

Total:242

I have always considered them separate from one another.

Always have and  always will.  For some reason trying to put the two under the same roof seems to cheapen  BOTH of them.

I love my handhelds and my consoles alike, but when I say to someone I know

"You a console gamer" I know of NO ONE who will say yea, I love my DS.

Visversa with "You a handheld/portable" gamer?

One is a home console and the other is a handheld console. They're both consoles!

It's like saying a cellphone is not a phone because it's portable. They still serve the same function, just like both handhelds and home consoles serve the same function: gaming.

Is the I-phone a console? lol

-_-

It's a phone. That's its main function.

That's like calling the ps3 a computer because it can also go on the internet.

That's a great point sir? I consider a handheld a handheld. I see a console as a non-portable gaming device that you put under your T.V. There simiar, but there not the same to me. It's all in how you see it. lol

You could consider the PS3 a gaming computer. It has similar componets. More so with the xbox. If I used my smartphone for nothing but gaming and the internet, would that be considered a gaming computer, that also makes calls. It's all in the way you see it,even though my example is alittle out there. lol

Wow, you just blew away everyone's argument in one post. Probably shouldn't have, people will just start disagreeing with the dictionary.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

That did'nt blow anything away? Can't there not be a handheld portable gaming console. Is the dictionary not always having to be updated? Am I just arguing sematics, just for the sake of arguing? lol
