A serious question for those that say a hand-held is not a console. The PS2 has been crammed into a portable shell. Are these custom modified PS2's no longer a console?
The real question is what constitutes a defining feature of a console. If the lack of mobility defines it then the question becomes why is that so essential? If not then what critical feature is it missing? What essential bit of what makes a console a console is missing from the DS or PSP? What is fundamentally so different?
