Sites like this live and die by the number of active members they have.  The reality is that VGChartz has potential now of robbing them of users, so it is war.  This site is a rival site to them, due to the content it has on it.

Little known fact:

When ioi was kicked out of GAF, he vowed that he would destroy it, and set 9th July 2010 (you've always wondered why all permabans end on that date, haven't you?) as the date for a mass attack. But when the day came, he realised how awesome we were, and how NPD was slowly failing, and cancelled it.
