It's only fair, PS3 and 360 got equivalent polls. It's harder to guess this for the Wii because it already has 7 games selling over 10 million units, multiple canidates this fall, Smash Bros inching towards the 10 million mark, and probably three more years of serious games comming out.

There are 7 games which have already broken 10 million sales, in order they are Wii Sports, Wii Play, Mario Kart Wii, Wii Fit, Wii Sports Resorts, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Wii Fit Plus.

I voted 12, I think Smash Bros Brawl will inch over 10 million, Wii Party will also sell like crazy (almost at a million in Japan only already), and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will also break 10 million. That makes 10, and I vote 12 because in the next 2-3 years I bet Nintendo will release another Wii --- game, maybe Wii Fit 3, maybe something completly new, and I also think something else will cross 10 million. Not Donkey Kong Country Returns, but something.

Please comment.

Really depends on how long the wii will be out for. Nintendo has a done a good job, making sure their games can be played by a lot of people.

i dont think skyward sword will make 10 million.. no zelda game hasnt, the closest was ocarina of time... but  donkey kong country will, it will have the same sales effect as new super mario bros wii

I think 11 or 12 sounds about right.

DKC R has a chance, albeit a small one and that's if it successfully appeals to both people who played the original 3 and new platformers such as NSMBWii

Zelda SS almost certainly won't, I expect 8.5m tops

Wii Party probably will and possibly Wii relax

Wii party for sure, now that's bundled with a wii remote, it's more likely now, I hope DKCR can do it, might only do around 6M though, Wii relax and uDraw games :D

Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,

mario maker

new 3ds

yoshi woolly world

zelda U

majora's mask 3d

Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus should be counted as one game IMO.

Sadly I'm not convinced that Skyward Sword will break 10m, even though it will be fantastic.

Well they are different games. I understand Wii Fit barely qualifies as a game, but it does, and just like Mario Party 1-8 are 8 different games, Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus are two different games.

I guess I'm the only one with faith for Skyward Sword. I think Skyward Sword has a chance to make it because Twilight Princess has almost 6 million, and that was a ported Gamecube launch title. It's just everytime I look at Most Wanted, Zelda is at the top, and I know amongst hardcore Nintendo gamers, it's a must have title. If Zelda manages to appeal to the casual gamer, it may just break 10 million. Maybe I'm just being wishfull.

P.S. I don't like the art style in the new Zelda. When Twilight Princess came out I thought that there is hope for the franchise, but ..... damn Nintendo. Don't get me wrong, I still loved Wind Waker, but the best Zeldas in my eyes are the semi realistic N64 interations, and Twilight Princess.

P.P.S. Anyone read reviews about Metroid: Other M? I'm so sad now... only 10 hours long

DKCR definitely won't.

Zelda Skyward Sword has a chance. Wii Party yes, Wii Relax might top it too, Smash Bros has the legs for it.

Apart of that we will have to wait for Nintendo to unveil what's in the works for 2011.

What's interesting about Wii's (and DS's, for that matter), software totals are, is that they've both already surpassed the PS2 in the number of 10 million sellers (the PS2 having 5). It seems like the Wii/DS audience is much more... united in what they want, rather than the PS2 audience, who seems more varied in what they bought (because there's not getting past that the PS2 has a LOT of million sellers.).

That said, Brawl and Wii Party are the obvious ones. Donkey Kong and Wii Relax could be potential 10 million sellers, and Galaxy could inch past it if Nintendo would finally make a "Players Choice" line and cut the prices of the older games.

brawl will be the only non wii titled wii game to brake 10mil. Everything else depends on how many games with casual appeal nintendo decides to stick wii in their title. If Super Mario Galaxy cant brake it and SSBB is having problems braking it, there is no way Donkey Kong Country will get close.
