Because his favourite console is losing momentum and the console he does not like is gaining it. There is nothing wrong with that.

I own both a 360 and Wii and to say that the 360 has 'much better games' is subjective.  I'm getting quite a bit of time out of my 2010 Wii titles.

That beside, I find it sad because while the new Slim model of the 360 can shred dics's and still has overheating problems, it is going to sell in the hundreds of thousands in a month's time.

the scratch disc thing was because some half wit journo moved the console around while it was spinning a disc... which you are clearly told not to do.

Mine has hardly ben off in the time I have had it... doesnt even get warm

the 360s is the quietest (by a mile) and coolest console I own... I own all 3.

 


You need to check your Wii, Kow, mine is totally silent.  Agree on the other points, but the 360s I've played with was clearly a bit louder than a Wii.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

I have one for downstairs in the living room and one for upstairs in my bedroom now.. I really can't be bothered to keep disconnecting and bringing things downstairs, set them up and get it ready for family and friends when they come over..

I think he means buying a new model because they have to have the new model, not having them in multiple rooms, etc.

It puzzles me a bit too unless there is an obvious reason to do so in terms of new features or whatever.  But having two setups in different rooms I get as so long as you can afford it why not?  It's like having two Sky boxes because you have two TVs in different rooms and want Sky on each.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

I've got to say that the launch of 360S has been pretty impressive...first off...a "stealth" launch at E3 of the new console was highly amazing, in this day of massive leaks on anything and everything (Iphone 4 anyone?)...Then to see the console pushing these numbers with no massive hype...in the summer no less...pretty darn impressive.
