So what do u guys think of the game? Im not mean singleplayer because multiplayer is the only thing that counts in RTS.

lol

But yea the multiplayer from what I have played is very good there are no real serious unbalances and the matchmaking is generally good and there are plenty of people at all skill levels to play ATM. The only real problems come from the region locking (especially if you are stuck in the SEA (south east Asia) region like me lol) and the custom game system which will hopefully be fixed soon. All in all  if you liked Starcraft or even Warcraft 3 multiplayer you will not be disappointed unless you live in SEA and are mainly interested in custom maps.

Why r u stuck in the Asia region? Are u a westerner living there?

South east Asia encompasses Oceania (pacific islands, Australia and New Zealand greatest country in the world lol) even tho due to routing issues and the fact us in A/NZ have a giant cable straight to the USA but don't to the country where the SEA server is some of us get similar pings as we would to the USA but can't play with anyone outside of our region. But we are getting free USA region keys in 60 days thank god, but we will lose ladder placement and achievements etc and we still won't be able to play with friends in the UK etc.

And to add insult to injury because of the way custom games being handled, authors have to upload maps to bnet and only people in the same region can play them so as most of the maps are made by Americans and Europeans we can't play most of the best maps.

Well. I like the game, it has good gameplay and the story is excellent in the sigle player campaign.

But I have to agree with some of my friends that I played the original SCBW with in that the multiplayer is much less dynamic than in BW. There are no cool moves that players can pull off, it's just about building a ball of units and attack moving it into the enemy's ball of units and see who wins.

To make matters worse, when stuff shows up, that does take skill, such as the infestor's burrowed casting, and the void ray target switching trick, blizzard doesn't wait to see if it can be integrated into the game, they just remove it instantly. And some of the match ups are in a bad state as of now. Zerg has to play insanely creative and aggressive against a Terran that just macroes and attack moves. And all ZvZ is is Ling/Baneling, just one lucky explossion can determine the entire game.

I like the game, I just hope the multiplayer will evolve into something more exciting to watch.

I wouldn't worry too much: if memory serves, the original game took several years before reaching the balance we've all come to know and love.  I'm confident it'll be the same with this game.

my ID is theprof00ATyahooDOTc_o.m or scrambles. I'm not sure how the ID system works

in future it may be wise to preface what server you play on when you post your ID.

Not aimed at anyone in particular but it would be nice if we didn't have to check their profile and assume lol.

there are you would be on the US one I imagine unless you bought one from overseas etc. It's just that every time someone posts their ID I have to check their profile just to find they live in US/EU so I can't add them lol. When you log onto the battle.net site it should tell you what server you are on BTW.

One of my favorite strategies is warping in dark templar straight into my opponents ass using phase prisms.

A match I played recently had my d. templar just ripping apart this terran players base. And he had comsat and a million thors but didn't bother using the comsat and he quit when he still had a chance to fight my units off.

Another match I was  getting my ass kicked my a baneling/zergling combo and then when all hope was lost and my secondary base was being clobbered, he started lagging. Countdown hit 0. "BilboBaggins" has left the game. I won. It was awesome.

Kinda weak "ending"

The most sad thing is that we will have to wait 18 MONTHS!1! for the zerg expansion....

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)
