And to think Wii Music will have better lifetime sales

I am a nintendo fan from nes days but I'm glad this did less then steller.

Maybe we will get a different Samus next game imho

30k this week, which is considerable as far as boosts go. By VGChartz numbers it will comfortably glide past 700k this year.

I think Nintendo was hoping this would take of like Prime 1 did.... They were banking on 2 million IMO. I think it CAN reach 1 million, I am pleasently suprised at the Japanese sales for this. Better already than the last 2 Metriods



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

This week it is the 20th best-selling Nintendo-published title on the Wii, just behind Wii Fit and just ahead of Link's Crossbow Training.

Is surpassing games that aren't even produced anymore a good thing?
