They totally listened to the media on this one and still made their conference like their typical conferences a lot of info on the products with demos and videos of gameplay, but you don't see people like Cammy or an over abundance of the "casual" games or sales charts.
Man... it's hard to say... I really wish I was there... I mean wow some of that was out of no where and I looked like reaction guys, "oh nice.... WAIT WHAT I KNOW THAT MUSIC! DONKEY KONG COUNTY! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! *PUMPS FIST*"
Stuff I really liked:
Zelda, it's a bridge of both TP and WW styles that settles on a look really similar to Link to the Past which I REALLY like, the demo was great, and I feel I know what was messing up with the demo so I lol'd when that happened cause it should have been really accurate but he likely wasn't holding the Wii remote right cause Wii Sports resort can do that if you don't play it often (get experienced with it)
Donkey Kong Country made by Retro studio... who saw this coming? No one... it was a surprise and VERY exciting
Goldeneye, I wasn't sold on this when the video leaked, but I think it the excitement after so many other announcements I just went I WANT THIS TOOOOOOOO
GOLDEN SUUUUUUUUUUUUUN, need I say more? It's my favorite GBA RPG series... GOLDEN SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN
Project Sora actually being Kid Icarus on 3DS? WHAT? AND THE MODEL FOR PIT LOOKS ALMOST AS GOOD AS THE BRAWL MODEL?!?! WHAT????? I don't like Kid Icarus but that trailer made me happy in the pants lol
Metroid, a game from last year, trailer still looks awesome and adds to the amazing line up, I'm really surprised by the line up overall and most of these games hitting before 2011
Epic Mickey, graphics are REALLY good, its 3D in the 2D sections but it looks good enough to be a cartoon lol it's just crazy good looking compared to the first shots and most games out there
New Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear, AND Resident Evil for 3DS? WOW this offering trumps the original DS lineup for its launch
Star Fox on 3DS? Crazy awesome! They've mentioned Pilot Wings on DS as well on Iwata asks if they mentioned it during the show I missed it due to lag
3DS so many cool little features, I was going to buy a DSi XL but now 3DS takes it and I'm getting it for sure. Going to support 3DS movies as well? Already stating How to Train Your Dragon is going to be 3D on the go? Crazy! I love it! Not the biggest on portable media but movies I do like.
In the middle:
Wii Party, will probably look into it, it might be fun
Kirby, yeah I know people will love this, never been a huge Kirby fan, the style is not what I expected either
Just Dance 2, still haven't played the first, looked entertaining, but its one of those things if I don't play it I don't care one way or the other
Mario Sports Mix, looks a lot like Mario hoops 3 on 3 team made this, and that game is the worst of the Mario sports games.
Did not like:
Nothing on the Vitality Sensor, that was weird.
Listing a lot of games without info, though if they actually went into it, they'd need a 3 hour conference I know, I just want my infoz! But it hardly took away from the amazingness of that show, I really don't see how anyone could hate on it at all, if the games don't appeal to you then they don't appeal which means you feel indifferent, but if you like those genres of games... wow how could you not be knocked on the floor?
Finally I loved this, yes Microsoft gave you free 360s but Nintendo gave you free ladies that let you play DS with them XD such a great way to start off your day now Sony is up, I'm really wanting to be floored again but man I don't think I can take much more.
