too bright, TOO BRIGHT! and the fonts are not dark enough.

no hot topics?

And people called VGC 2.0 "Too dark, terrible colour combinations & a recipe to strain one's eyes"

back then people wanted the white background of VGC 1.5 back!

So you moan if they do it & you moan if they don't do it

How can someone win?!

you took too bright and left "the fonts are not dark enough" you know.

I am srsly finding it hard to read "grey" fonts on white backgrounds.

I love how faster the site is and how easy I can qoute and reply :)

Oh, and what's with the Xbox colour-scheme of the new forum subsection (gamrconnect)?

So you can't make a green site without it being Xbox now? Is gamrReview PS3 then?

Intentional or not, It does look biased. Your gamrReview section isn't using the same tone of red you previously used for Playstation (and there are other colours too).
Can you at least get rid of the "gamr" thing? And no, contrary to my username (which was supposed to be a joke) I'm a sensible person and not "just a hater". Really, gamr? What are we, in second grade?

"Well certainly with the Xbox 360, we had some challenges at the launch. Once we identified that we took control of it. We wanted to do it right by our customers. Our customers are very important to us." -Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb (10/2013). Note: RRoD was fixed with the Jasper-revision 3 years after the launch of 360

"People don't pay attention to a lot of the details."-Yusuf Mehdi explaining why Xbone DRM scheme would succeed

"Fortunately we have a product for people who aren't able to get some form of connectivity; it's called Xbox 360,”-Don Mattrick

"The region locking of the 3DS wasn't done for profits on games"-MDMAlliance

I tried to upload a new banner to the Guild Wars 2 page, and I just get stuck at the preview URL.

http://gamrreview.vgchartz.com/assets/game_includes/bannerprev.php

It's just a blank page for me, and the uploading process is stopped there.

Chrome 5.0

If it aint broke don't fix it..........

Just wondering if the Section 8 threads were in the off-topic forum before, or if this is new?  Never noticed them before, and never knew there was a secret society...

Do you all get robes with hoods and carry candles?

Unicorns ARE real - They are just fat, grey and called Rhinos

Nah, we just listened to NintendoFanGirl go on and on about a lot of nothing.

Actually, I haven't been there in a while... so who knows. *shrugs*

I mean... Tanstalas knows too much! Get him!

I know this isn't necessarily constructive, but I have seen Web Design 101 projects that look better than this layout.  Fucking Magellan couldn't navigate this site anymore.  I can't imagine anything ever being posted here that is worth having to deal with this website design.  Couldn't you guys find a 1999 Angelfire template to use?  That would be preferable to this mess.

Those complaining about no cancel button in the reply/quote popups - just click outside the popup on the main page and it'll close. Not exactly intuitive but good enough workaround for now.

I think "gamr" has more potential to grow as a brand than "gamer". The only ones complaining about the "z" already disliked us for other reasons.

there are no COLORS in the text editor!!!!  D:

also, we need the most active/most recent threads to be more visible pleeeeeeease :)
(the one that used to be at the lower part of the main page, where you chose Gaming, Nintendo, Sony... etc)

also, it would be cool if the headlines (news section) be colored according to topic (Gaming=orange, Nintendo=blue, Sony=red ...etc)

but i DO love they new look, and i've already gotten used to the new aesthetic, it's really cool :)

well THANKS! :D

This is going to be seen as a non-issue I imagine, but it's not "gamr" it's "gamer".

I've seen the "z" of VGChartz be ridiculed several times by members of other gaming websites, using it as a reason to dismiss us as unprofessional and untrustworthy.

As a site which aims to be seen as professional we should be trying to avoid this kind of immature spelling of words in an attempt to look cool. Now we have welcomed the word "Gamr" all over our site, I can't see how it represents VGChartz as being a serious and trustworthy site, it makes us look like we're ran by school children.

It's just a brand name - like digg, reddit, flickr and all these other sites that have failed miserably

Don't get me wrong, I think it is an overall improvement on VGChartz 2.0.

But who would you rather be treated as, someone who is taken as a serious tracker of sales like NPD, or a site that's a bit of fun for the masses like Digg? Because I always get the feeling as though the site would want to be more like the former with many discussions on the accuracy of sales tracking data and industry news and sales discussions.

Either way, I just want to bring your attention to my initial impression of 3.0 reading as though it is meant to appeal to teenagers. But ultimately you're the one who runs the site and out of the two of us you're the professional, so your opinion is more valid.
