Nice to hear :)

I LOVE ICELAND!

That's mighty fine attitude. +1 Treyarch!

Treyarch is sooooo coool :D

Wii love them :)

Last I heard, Treyarch's Wii team is about 30 people, and it used to be smaller. That's 30 people who turn out a million-seller once a year.

I doubt it costs more than $5 million to port a CoD game to the Wii, and I'm pretty sure Activision takes at least $20 million revenue on each title (excepting CoD3).

Thread title typos can go DIE!

I know the feeling.  I wish there was a way the creator of the thread could go back and fix it :(.

Anyways, Im glad to read that Treyarch is committed to releasing their Call of Duty games out on the Wii and trying to make the game as close as possible to the Xbox 360, PS3 versions.  They deserve some credit for trying to give the Wii audience something to look forward to :).

"Whereas we're able to create the same assets that can be used on PC, PS3 and 360, we actually have to do quite a bit of work on both the technology and assets for Wii. The investment is heavy to get it working on the Wii"

Wii hard to develop for??

He obviously means it's harder to port. The Wii's unique control scheme requires extra attention, and the fact that it's a lower powered system means things need to be cut / changed.

Anyway, it is nice to hear Treyarch's enthusiasm. Although, I'd love to hear it from more talented developers...

What it means is that Treyarch can put a lot of the things on other consoles, but they have to decide upon what is important enough to include that the Wii could handle. This requires extra attention. One example is the "bones" in a person online. When you see them moving, the HD versions have as many as possible giving fluid, and variety of animations. Wii can't handle all these bones at a time, so they have to decide which "bones" are important enough to make the character look good while Wii being able to handle it.
