Wii hard to develop for??

well yeah it is hard to develope wii games sometimes... 3rd partys have to make a custom engine because its the weakest console this gen... the ps3 is hardest to develope for because its such a powerful system and its expenisve to develope for, i dont know about now maybe it went down lol

You have to make a custom engine anyway, but no costs really don't go down unless they reuse engine and assets which some teams do, but thats a fraction of the cost cause a large portion of development costs go towards art now since HD textures are so detailed and typically you have to have a crap load of them to make the game look good, that doesn't change from game to game unless you want people to get pissed cause you obviously are selling them the same content from the last game (which works for some sports games don't get me wrong)

+10 respect for Treyarch.

It's great to see a dev who doesn't treat the Wii audience like sh!t, and recognises that there IS a committed hardcore fanbase on Wii. (I mean, do people REALLY think the million plus gamers who bought MWR and WaWii are grandmothers and 4-year-olds?)

You might be surprised. This dude loves him some CoD on Wii:

I want to know what features cannot make it to the wii version. I know Treyarc is commited to the wii, but I want to know what will be left off.

World at war left much to desire from Treyarc, but they redeemed themselves with Reflex. I respect them a lot

WaWii and MWR represent a sort of yin and yang in my view; the former lacked features but ran smoother and looked better, while the latter was visually rougher but had less cut content. Hopefully BO will be the best of both worlds.

Not to mention the 8 million people who bought Mario Galaxy and Zelda, and the 10 million who bought SS:BB. They're always shrugged off as, "well they're just Nintendo fans," but aren't Nintendo fans who buy those games "hardcore" gamers? These 10 million Smash Bros players certainly aren't grandmas and 4 year olds.

There's no dobut in my mind that if more 3rd parties put more effort and passion into their core games like Monster Hunter Tri, and make it at least somewhat accessible and entertaining, they should get AT LEAST 1 million sales.

I haven't bought a CoD game,but, I might check this one out.

Isn't that the same company that said they aren't making any WiiWare games?

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

That's what I want to hear from a developer! I've gained a little more respect from them now. I do wish they did something with Quantum of Solace on Wii though. They didn't make the Wii version, but whoever did, sucked.
