9/10. I would have given it 10/10 if not for the lame story.

Trying to knock-down an opinion with an opinion.  How original.

I can respect that people do not like the game. I know alot of people do not. But do not question my love for the game. I was very drawn in by the world, characters, battle system, and even the story. So yes. My opinion still stands as it is my favorite game of all time. 10/10.

I enjoyed it when I played it but it was broken in many ways:

- Characters were so bloody annoying. I just wanted to punch Squall.
- Story was a very poor love story.
- Junction system made the game way to easy once you figured out how to use it.
- Heroes, Auras and Limits broke the game. I killed Omega Weapon first time with this strategy (and the Laguna card)
- GFs were somewhat retarded. Way too long.

+ Some good FMVs.
+ The story had its moments (although on the whole was poor). The first 12 hours captivated me and the Laguna sequences kept me playing.
+ Good music.
+ Battle system whilst flawed, was still good fun. The gunblade and the limits at least increased user interactivity.

10/10!!!!!

Not quite in my top ten FFs, but still a great game.

Loved the scenery, the music and the vonding of the characters... Enemy design was great and it had by far the best cutscenes in the history of videogames imo. 9.5/10
