Sonic Heroes.

The first Sonic game that I bought since the 2D games. It was sonic so it had to be good.

I was in for a rude awakening.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Heavenly Sword...

PoP, the game was dire.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

de Blob

It's harsh to describe it as the threads title says because it's not a bad game at all.

I just couldn't sit down for an hour+ to finish a stage with no save points. I guess I've lost my hardcoreness.

Resistance 2, I thought with all the good reviews it would at least be decent however the single player was really boring and the online was just as bad. You'd usually expect the online to be the saving grace for a FPS but the weapons were terrible and the gameplay was just rubbish.

FFX-2: FFX is one of my favorite games in the series and X-2 crapped all over it. It took the world of Spira and destroyed it. Yuna's character was completely inconsistent and I knew I was in for hell when Yuna broke out into a J-Pop song in the beginning. The sad thing is the game had excellent game play.

Star Ocean IV: This is my most disappointing JRPG of this generation. Unlike FFXIII, I was actually looking forward to SOIV. The voice acting was terrible. The story wasn't very good and Lymle was just too much for me to stand. I probably would have finished it if it wasn't for the freezing issues. I thought they would have fixed those for the PS3 release, but my brother rented SOIV for PS3 and it still freezes. WTF Tri-Ace!!!

Oblivion: One word boring. Oblivion was one of those games that looked like perfection on paper but the game itself just lacked magic. It sort of reminded me of GT3 in a way. It as much prettier than it's predecessor, but the predecessor was a better game.

FFXIII: It's early, I still maybe able to make myself finish it. Honestly I don't know though. I've never had a game that I had low expectations for disappoint me....until FFXIII. Even as a fan of FFX, XIII was too linear for my taste. The game is monotonous and poorly paced. You battle until you get to a cut-scene and then repeat the task. I don't understand how a game in development for so long can feel so incomplete. It's a shame because Sazh was a surprisingly good character and Lightning was anything but a female Cloud. She was actually a good lead character.

Unlimited Saga. The game sucked donkey balls. That's all I really need to say

Army of two 40th day- I don't know why either because I enjoyed the first one, I just could not get into it at all. so i have no valid reason just i couldnt get along with it

I can take this a few ways, but for me, I have my own little general "suggestion" system. And game I don't finish, I try to keep my friends away from too. Any game I play to completion at least once is probably worth a recommendation to at least try it. Any game I beat 2-3 times will be recommended highly. Any game I beat 4+ times I'll probably talk about non-stop with my gaming friends for a year or so.

A few games populate that last list, but the largest list is the first. I have soooo many games I've bought and never finished. Some of them are actually good games, but maybe I ran out of time, or just forgot about it and was never interested in trying to play it again. But, the one I think that fits best is Too Human. I heard awful reviews about it, none of my friends like it, but I still bought it. I did think "maybe I'll like it, maybe they're all wrong". To its credit, I did get to the last level, but I was way too bored to keep going, and I was really just playing to justify my spending $60 on it.

A couple of other games are Unlimited Saga (noticed some other comments on that) and FF8 (ughhhh). I got to the end of FF8 and was so thoroughly annoyed by the game that I stopped and deleted my data without finishing it. Actually, FF8 is the reason I'm no longer a FFF (Final Fantasy Fanboy). Unlimited Saga spent about 20 minutes in my PS2, and most of the rest of its existence in the case. Oh and Suikoden 3, soooo boring.
