At the moment, I'd say the Bit.trip games, but I'll be playing the Trauma Center games soon, so that could change. Mega Man 10 on Hard mode also gave me quite a bit of trouble for some reason, even though the Wily fortress wasn't all that special except for some frustrating gimmick parts.

But IMO there aren't really that many tough games this gen, at least when compared to last gen games, like F-Zero GX.

Trauma Center Second Opinion (Normal difficulty).... it drives me nuts...

I think I'll have to put SF4 challengers as the most difficult, simply because I don't think I'll ever be able to do them. The others were attainable for me.

This game, that game in uber-hard mode .... are hard. Ok

MGSIV. I had real trouble with some of the boss fights midway through the game. Might just be that I wasn't used to MGS-style boss fights as I hadn't played a previous game in the series. They seemed to get easier later on in the game.

Also had trouble with bossfights in The Force Unleashed and RE5.

Hardest core gameplay I'd probably say OpFlash: DR.

I also forgot to mention, Toki Tori, some of the later levels aren't winnable, so hard.

Even though LP1 was glitchy as hell on my PS3. I enjoyed playing it. ^^

Never had any glitches on the Xbox version. The PS3 port was terrible though.

Finally, someone else who has played Lost Planet on Extreme.

It's like Final Fantasy XIII's Doom counter is cast on your throughout the entire game!

Well.......for what I did play of LP on Extreme it was extremely limited, didn't even finish first level.  Felt like going for all/most of the achievements but I had to play all difficulties so I went back to the lowest one first and I'm playing through that now.


How do you mean extremely limited?

The first level isn't that hard except for the Boss. He's one of the hardest in the game because you get around 3 mini-rollers with him too.

The worm level makes me want to cry when trying to get the target markers on Extreme. There are two Worms.
