As the title says.

What is the hardest one you have played?

Why was it hard?

and did you enjoy it?

Mine would go to The Last Remnant.

Some ridiculously crazy boss fights and bonus fights. Requires quite a bit of thinking and strategy to overcome them.

and yes I loved the game. Flaws and all it is my game of the gen.
