Nice find. Very funny. Not sarcastic, really. I also like how everyone started damage controlling.

Copying Nintendo controls is already embarrassing enough, but this is absolutely insane.

Get real kid. Nintendo didn't invent it.

They came up with the design and implementation, so how didn't they invent it?

Sony fans, I love you, but you're the kings of spin.

Nintendo did not invent motion controls.

Move has the same design, so? What people fail to realize in this industry is, companies use other ideas from other companies.

Sony was the first to design dual-analog controllers, Nintendo did it, so did Microsoft.

Do you see anyone getting butthurt over it?

Nintendo may not of invented Motion controls but they took the risk and it was a huge success, now Sony is trying to "Copy" their success.

Its like if MS releases the "Surface", it will still be seen as a "Copy" of the "Ipad" (God that sounds like a tampon brand >_<) even if its not.

It's just funny as a curiosity. But it's not a big deal.

At least there's no sex words in the tags!

because most gamers are close minded babies with huge ego's and loyalty to something none important. They feel with a game they have accomplished something so hard and so vital to there life that once you stab at it they take offense.
i laugh at those people who take "sides" over a company...
why take sides...
why not enjoy them all?

i can careless about motion controls and i dont care even more that sony took the idea from nintendo. If they make it better with better software i dont see the problem. it would finally mean a motion control with decent games and something worth looking into.

honestly the forums on this site make me sick and embarrassed to call myself a gamer and Nintendo fan

I think thread's like this are good way for ppl to step back and look at what debating.... this is so silly

And this proves that they're both motion controls?
If anyone on youtube is interested in the wiimote they may also find the Move interesting.
End of story really.

off topic: lol i love sony but im pretty sure gow3 is at only 720p to keep the 60fps

Sony did not innovate anything......their controller at launch didnt even have any analog sticks but once the N64 analog was getting praise , sony made the dual-stick model controller and when nintendos rumble pak took off , sony made the dual shock......all sony has done is copy Nintendo by literally doubling it.

It is a case of follow the leader.

Sony have historically improved upon those ideas though, so it's not all bad.

Analogue -> Dual Analogue

Rumble Pak -> Built in Rumble

Anyway...
Why do we never see any complaints about say, the DVD? Wasn't the PlayStation 2 the first console to use DVD tech? Yet now it is used by the Xbox... Or wasn't the original PlayStation the console with CD-based tech to first "use it successfully", with over 100Million units sold? We never hear anything about those though do we?

Or even the PlayStation Memory Card... Surely that was the first to be uber popular, with 100M+ sales of the console... Why don't we ever hear anything about that? Both Wii and 360 STILL use Memory Cards.

How did Sony do it? Ive NEVER seen a company, the ENTIRE company do something like this!

It is amazing! So, I guess we need to start thinking of a corporation as ONE individual again? By your (employees) powers combined, I AM CAPTAIN SONY!

Come on people. Someone at Sony might have done this, but Sony ITSELF did not. I do not see the problem here. They are obviously going after the Wii crowd who might want to get into HD gaming, so whats the problem?
