Actually it's more that most people think that either one of those two has the most chance of making sure a republican doesn't win because they are most likely to energize the base.

Republians have the same problem, Rudy is the most populer, Mccain would steal the most votes from the democrat... but if either of them get picked the religious right is threatening a third party candidate... and they're crazy enough to try it.

Rather than answer this question, I have one thing to add: I strongly doubt that you have a firm grasp of fiscal and foreign policy, Soriku, or how Obama/Clinton's propositions would affect those policies long term.

No offense intended -- although I'm aware it's impossible not to say this without a hint of derision -- but it doesn't seem like political discourse would be your strong suit. At least, not at your tender young age.

Well, go and vote for Gore, Soriku...

Oh wait, you can't yet :D

Uh oh, an adolescent is getting political, somebody stop him before he hurts himself! (just messin with you soriku :)

Seriously though, yeah, not going near this one, and you should probably turn around, walk slowly, whistle and act like you never made this topic.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

On second thought, I like this topic, for one reason: it's like fanboy musical chairs. You know all those 360 fanboys you hate the other 23 hours of the day? Well maybe in this thread, they're on "your side," whatever that may be. And maybe all those PS3 or Wii fanboys you usually congregate with are suddenly the enemy.

If Leo-J and Soriku are both conservative (by which I likely mean their parents are both conservative), and thus they are fanboys on the same side of the argument, then this thread is worth continuing.

I would vote for Obama, because I agree with most of his points, and he seems to be a genuinely great guy. Kinda like James T. Kirk, John Sheridan, and all the other great fictional Americans I grew up admiring, only to wonder why there's no one like them in real politics.

Leftists politics are unfortunately still nowhere to be found in the US, but this guy's close enough for me.

I know what your talking about bod, the "is there a god" topic was really amusing for that very reason. You don't know who's on who's side anymore!
