The PS3 enjoyed a very good holiday season last year, and is looking to continue that momentum, and big-name releases such as GoW3 – there are more than 225,000 preorders in Canada, the largest numbers ever for a PS3-exclusive game – will likely push sales.

Holy sh*t, that's got to be an insane amount of preorders for Canada. 

Are these numbers included in the Americas preorder chart?

If not, then GoW3 will be mahoosive-er confirmed.

Either these are retailer pre-orders, or the Americas Preorder Charts are MASSIVELY off.

Where did they get them numbers from?

That's what confuses me. That's some 50% of GoW3's American pre-orders. Canada is not equal in size to the USA.

If Canada has 225,000 pre-orders, the USA shold have something like 2 million, but that's impossible.

This has to be retailer preorders...

too bad that sony wont have enough PS3s to support the demand for the console once this game releases..
