DS' library includes several top-notch rpgs, whereas the Wii is relatively weak in this genre, although this seems to be changing this year.

The DS..no doubts there

Agree with darth, DS is a JRPG monster.

But the Wii will be getting good JRPGs soon, like Arc Rise Fantasia, Xenoblade, Last Story, Tales of Graces and othres I don't remenber.

I like real time rpgs more than turn based, but i still like turn based a lot.

I don't think this will be typical real time though, I think the battle system will be different from other action RPGs.

Iwata clearly said "It will be a new form of RPG"

so that much is guaranteed

In some threads back there was talk about it having "large scale" battles where you control loads of people at once (all pure speculation).

Turnbased feels very last gen to me.

The only last game I enjoyed with a turn based system was final fantasy IV on DS...
