Ok for those who have beat the game or just don't care enough about the plot. First things first:

Amazing game! Much better than I was expecting. I'm glad I let the VGC hype get to me on this one.

Second:

what the fuck just happened? I finished the game, got four of the possible 17 endings, and I don't understand how anything fits together yet. So Scott is the Origami killer? He's been the Origami killer all along? Why did he save Mrs. Bowles' life? If he was just going around pretending to be a private detective to destroy evidence, wouldn't it be in his interest that she dies? He obviousley has no problem with killing others.

I'm starting to think there's minor plotholes and I'm hoping to god that's not the case. For instance, in my ending, I shot and killed Scott with Ethan. Then it goes to the scene where Madison's book is being published, and the news anchor is talking about how the Origami killer was arrested....not shot and killed.

Also, if anyone knows, how do I keep everyone alive at the end? Like if I don't shoot Scott, wont he kill me?

Can someone please just lay the plot out if you know it so maybe I can understand it a bit better? I tired wikipedia and they haven't deciphered it yet.

The Four Heroes trophy - You just need to have everyone alive and get them to the old warehouse, you can still kill Scott in the end.

Scott doesn't find it necessary to kill people. If he has to, then he will without second thought. That is why he puts an orchid on all the bodies of his victims. To show their innocence.

Oh and about the news story. They did some cover ups on the broadcast to not let the people know what really happened. They do it in just about every ending. Lol.

I don't understand...he's the killer but he saves the family members of the kids he killed?

His issue was never really with the kids or the mothers. It was with the fathers. His obviously didn't do shit to help them when they were young and let his brother drown.

Which makes it difficult to understand why he saved Hassan (if you chose to save him).

His job at this point is to gather all the proofs he left behind and destroy them.

See that's the thing...why would he break into Mrs. Bowles' house and save her then? And it's not like the game gives you the option to not save her. You have to save a braud who is killing herself because of something you did...it makes no sense whatsoever. If I were the killer I'd just walk out of there cause the only person who might know anything is too busy killing themselves.

All his anger and motivation is targetted towards the fathers of the children he kills and so there is no need for the mother to die. I expect he views his killings as some sort of necessity in trying to find a father who did what his could not and so probably doesn't see himself as a 'bad' person. So, in all other regards he probably tries to act in a just way and so in this instance saves the mother.

Those are hardly plot holes. The first one, Scott isn't a psycopathic monster, he just wants to find devoted fathers. And the second one could just be a coverup. Criminals getting killed without a trial leads to negative public opinion.

Try these:

1) How does Madison know Scott? Why does she recoil in shock upon hearing his name?
2) Why do Scott's thoughts never suggest that he is the Origami Killer, and indeed, prove the contrary?
3) What exactly does Ethan DO during his daily blackout?

As for Scott...do you really think he would kill you? The ONE MAN willing to risk everything, endanger himself, to kill, even to DIE for his son, and you think Scott would shoot him?
