im pretty sure a handheld console....and a home console are different things hens the adding of the word handheld otherwise it would be just know as a console

One is a console to play on the go, the other one is a console to play at home. You know, what you call a "console" is really a "home console". As opposed to a handheld console...both of them are consoles, get over it. 

yeah they are both consoles....but in different catagories.... that should not be compared as in the same, one releases at about half the price as well....so not the fairest of comparisons, but yeah carry on thinking they are....whatever helps you sleep at night i guess

it's not really opinion though is it....there facts.... i couldnt just sit on a bus and play a ps2 out now can I.....so there different

In Black Ops 2 I can call in attack dogs. I cannot do that in Battlefield 3. Therefore Black Ops 2 is a FPS and Battlefield 3 is not.


thats a piss poor comparison.... since when did having dogs in a game define a fps? im pretty sure playing in the First person whislt being able to shoot was the defining aspect of an FPS ..... try a little harder please

Handhelds dont sell half? $299.99 or $349.99 Wii U ⇔ 3DS $249.99 Vita is $249.99 or $299.99 (dif models) so that means that when ps4 comes out by your statment it'll be $499.99 or $599.99

In Street Fighter 4 I can use Zangief. I cannot use him in Tekken 6. Therefore, Street Fighter 4 is a fighting game and Tekken 6 is not.

no..thats mobile phones are mobile phones, land lines are land lines , like consoles are consoles and handheld consoles are handhelds consoles.....simples

Nope. Its like this: Consoles->Handheld-,Home[console]->(3DS, Vita...),(PS3,Xbox360,WiiU)

Some of you guys have it backwards. The PS2 is the one that's not a video game console. It's a DVD player. The DS, on the other hand, is very much a video game console.
