Even if this is a PS2 vs Wii thread DS will still have a tough time reaching the PS2. It's being discontinued at about 158 million. Ninty is projecting 154 million by April. At its current sales rate it would take the DS 2 years to sell another 4 million.

It's hard for me to think that the PS2 is selling in developing countries considering that Sony is ceasing worldwide production. Something doesn't seem right here.

Ps2 will be the best selling home console..... Don't see how people think handhelds are even in the same catagory

1. handhelds are battery powerd....No console is
2. handhelds all have they're own (as standard) display screen...no TV Needed
3.handhelds can be played outside (without any cables dragging outside the house)
4. handhelds have they're controller built into the system...consoles have them externally

A console is a console. DS > PS2.
