Scandalous!

Around the Network

I'm not interested in this game anymore. oh well now I'll just watch the game bomb misberably.

In all honestly though. I will never not buy a game because it isn't excluesive. But the sales will be interesting to watch

Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true

Do Not Click here or else I will call on the eye of shinning justice on you.

I'm glad this will also be on PC but, yeah, as others have said...Halloween 2011?! They'd have been better served simply not talking about it until at least E3.

Well I'm glad HVS is bringing this game multi console. I think it will overall perform better tallying up all platforms.

Though I agree with 1337 Gamer. I feel that this game is only going to grab a fraction of the genre on the PCS360 as it will be in direct competition of L4D and it won't support certain aspects of the game. I likely will have no custom map ability, DLC and no multiplayer. Remember the comment "if" for it's multiplayer aspect. That's an early statement that they want to, but it doesn't look like it's going to be in the time or budget and will get cut unless some miracle happens.

On a technical note The Grinder capability for special effects has jump dramaticly. When The Conduit came out and they boasted taking advantage of most of the Wii hardware I doubted that they did. Looking at The Grinder video it looks like they are really starting to take advantage of the TEV. That's a big plus for them. I hope their engine is licensable because more companies should use it.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

Great to see 3rd parties showing support to PS3 and 360 as well as Wii!

Damn. In multi-platform development, the wii always loses out. Not by graphics, but by a lack of dedication.

I'm not sure it's a good move. Being a wii-exclusive made it stand out. And you didn't have much competition. HVS can't go up against Valve.

You're being as transparent as glass.

I'm going to assume what happened is that they couldn't get a publisher for Grinder unless they agreed to make it multiplatform, and the publisher were willing to put up the cash for the further investment required. Otherwise this is a retarded move by HVS, they'd be betting the farm on a Left4Dead clone when Left4Dead is already available. Even as it is, it's retarded, for the publisher at least. The only advantage Grinder had was that it was on Wii were there isn't as much competition for the core market. On the HD consoles it's just another shooter competing against all the bigger budget shooters.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

I have no idea at all what you are talking about. Honest.

Did anyone really care about this game?

XD.

I think this is the best decision for HSV. There is a much bigger audience for shooters on PS3/360 than on Wii.
