Considering how much this is going up sales are gonna get even worse. Though I wouldn't be surprised if we see a boost in sales for July before they crash hard. 

I wouldn't be surprised if the price of the PS5 goes up again later this year or early next year if the prices of storage and memory continue to climb. Even Apple just raised prices. 

That's insane.

Switch 2 price is surely going to increase again soon as it was not that big of a increase this year.
PS5 is likely following, but they did increase the PS5 price more this year already, so maybe not... who am I kidding, it's going up again.

The hope now is seeing if they get down by 2028 or not.

In other words, we saw Steam Box starting at over $1,000 so we gave up subsidizing our hardware as well.

Is Sony going to wait until after GTA 6 launch for their next round? Steam box and XBox aren't going to have much benefit from GTA 6 at these prices.

Microsoft directly caused this spending hundred of billions on AI bullshit.

We shall see what Sony decides to do. I do expect another PS5 price increase late this year or early next year. Maybe not quite as drastic as Microsoft.
