Next week, the latest Pokémon Legends game releases on Switch 1 and 2; how much do you think it will sell lifetime, and what's your reasoning for your answer?

Maybe a little bold… but I’m saying 17.5-20mil. If Legends Arceus could pull 14.5m releasing a few months after BDSP and completely overshadowed by ScVi (in February of all months), then there’s no reason that the shiny new Switch 2 Pokémon won’t hit a tad bit higher.

This game on Switch 2 will go a long way to sell more because new buyers of the console would like to buy nice games and this will be one of them. Probably 15-20mil

I think 15m is the floor, it should sell better than Arceus even if I think it looks worse. The crossgen release will help greatly. It being one of very few first party titles you can pick up for Switch 2 at launch will help a bit too. Long term I guess it depends if a new pokemon is launching next year. 

I'll go with 15m-17.5m, but I think it passing 17.5m is a definite possibility.

More than 15m most probably, but considering it is all in one city and only 240 Pokemon, it better be good!

Pokemon fans are given the bare minimum by gamefreak... and when cool designs can save the day they are kept for early dlc!

It will be interesting to see the Switch 1/Switch 2 split; the former obviously has an install base like x15 bigger, but there's a hardware bundle with the latter.

The setting is not exciting. Doesn't have the same sense of discovery as the original Legends, nor the novelty. Add the fact it looks less ambitious, I hope it underperforms :D
