Interesting to see :)
Persona 3 is fantastic, Granblue Fantasy Relink a good game.
The Jujutsu Kaisen-Game is really.. -.- Bad quality, Bandai Namco.

By the way: Are there actually hardware sales figures from Brazil? I would be interested in them because its a big country.

PS5 sales fall a bit this week but nice PS presence in the top 10.

Lackluster sales for Persona. It was a game that always sold really well in Japan

Good to see worldwide numbers were really high to offset the decline in Japan

It was far more popular in Japan back in the day. It's not like in the west where Persona 4 made into the news and Persona 5 was a runaway success.

In the end it's just a remake and most Japanese players aren't discovering it like some folks are doing over here.

Good software week for the Playstation!

Signature goes here!

Good software sales for the PS platform has a whole.

Yet, someone echoed it but I really thought that P3 Reloaded was bound for a 200K+ physical launch. Now it just means that the western audience took the slack or PC in some manner too probably.

As for GrandBlue Fantasy .... It had a great PC launch but the more we see physical charts everywhere the more you realize that the game is not exactly performing great overall for the pedigree it leans upon. Such a busy week too when you've got a loads of game releases in this past week.

Hardware wise, Switch despite a small decline is the winner of this week with no software release, while the PS5, despite it's big software push until FF Rebirth, just went down 30% wow and approx. 60% YoY.

Not the greatest outlook for the continuing weeks.

Switch with only 4 in the top 10? Playstation is putting up a fight.

Also to follow my post, it seems like shipment for this quarter might get bleaker than we thought for both Sony and Xbox

https://www.businesstoday.com.tw/article/category/183015/post/202401240002/

The article is from a Chinese buisness site, but the gist of it is this :

"Not only laptops, but also consumer electronics, the demand is extremely bleak. It is understood that the two major game console manufacturers, Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox, both faced the challenge of lower-than-expected sales and excessive inventory during the Christmas season last year.

In order to clear inventory, Sony has notified its supply chain, including assembly plant Hon Hai, and power supply manufacturers Delta Electronics and Lite-On, that PlayStation orders will be cut in half in the first quarter of this year, from about one million units per month. , lowered to 500,000 units, and Microsoft also informed assembly plants Pegatron and Hon Hai, and power supply manufacturers Qundian and Lite-On that "Xbox production will be completely suspended in the first quarter."

For Microsoft, it follows up with their 40% down forecast while Sony is simply halving it's own there. I doubt this is simply just about rellocating these resources to other assemblies.
