Idk if there's been other threads about everyone's respective top 5 games of the year, so feel free to share!

My top 5 games of 2023 have to be:

1. Baldur's Gate 3
2. Hi-Fi Rush 
3. Resident Evil 4
4. System Shock Remake
5. Pizza Tower

After further deliberation, I'm actually dropping Mario RPG just barely out of my top 5 and adding Pizza Tower!

3. Final Fantasy 16
4. Super Mario RPG remake
5. Armored Core VI
HM: Lies of P, Sea of stars, and Dead Space remake

Didn't play/beat yet: Alan Wake 2, Lies of P

Edit - thinking about it now, number 5 might be a three-way tie between AC6, Slay the Princess, and Mario Wonder.

This must be the most amazing year of gaming and I thought for a long time gaming peaked in 90s. I really love 90s games. Which is a giveaway to my #1.

I apparently wasn't very good at playing new games last year. Alan Wake and Baldur's Gate 3 are at the top of my list of games I want to play though.

…lots of Nintendo here. Waiting for Baldur’s Gate 3 physical release on PS5, Pizza Tower is on my watchlist, Final Fantasy XVI was on my radar (but now Final Fantasy VII remake has replaced it), etc etc. I’ve got my excuses…plus Nintendo was a monster this year!!

Top Five Not-New-Games that I either experienced for the first time, or replayed:
1. Zelda Majora’s Mask (N64, first-time)
2. Pikmin 2 (NSW, replay)
3. Yoshi’s Island (SNES, first-time)
4. The Last of Us Remaster (PS5, first-time)
5. Dark Souls Remaster (PS5, first-time)

I uhh... only played Tears of the Kingdom last year, and even that for only like ten hours so I'm still nowhere.
