This must be the most amazing year of gaming and I thought for a long time gaming peaked in 90s. I really love 90s games. Which is a giveaway to my #1.

A lot of games from this year I still have to play: Slay the Princess, Tears of the Kingdom, Dredge, Alan Wake 2, Turbo Overkill, Dave the Diver, Lies of P, Chants of Sennaar, Super Mario RPG remake, Sea of Stars, System Shock remake.
