my guess is, that recent talk of going back to the classic sonic means literraly going back and remastering the originals, pulling the current versions so people have more reason to buy the new version.

Slowly but surely, they plan to delete certain sonic games from history until we forget that Sonic the hedgehog was ever actually good. This is just the beginning....

Is Sonic on XBO? If no, I think they are just taking the games off systems with succeeded market places. Surprised it's still on PS3 though, if it is.
