Can it flourish in the wake of Mario Kart 8's success?

To me, it seems like pretty good timing. If you're buying a Wii U for Mario Kart and you're in the market for an additional game but none of other existing Wii U releases appealed to you, getting Bayo 2 makes a certain amount of sense.

Don't think they would release it a week after Mario Kart, but maybe later in June or July would be a decent release window. There won't exactly be much competition between software on Wii U after MK8 seeing as there is another long drought this spring and summer that Nintendo assured us there wouldn't be.

OT: What's with these baseless leaks today? If this were true though, it wouldn't be too good of an idea. Maybe scheduling it three weeks after Mario Kart 8 would help it, but not one week.

FAKE! I think hyrule warriors has the highest probability of being the follow up to mario kart, nintendo published wise. but end of june sounds like a better date for ANY game nintendo plans to release right after mario kart.

The next big Wii U game should release mid June-early July, not right after MK8...
