Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Is Wii Fit U bombing really hard?

Tagged games:

It's strange... Before Xmas I had seen tons of TV commercials featuring Wii Fit U, in Amazon France it's available since 13th December it seems, but it has never appeared in any chart. Your thoughts? Did everyone become slim enough with the first Wii Fit?

It would seem so. Haven't seen any ads at all for it in the UK though. GAME have already reduced the price of the activity meter by 25% which suggests it is selling poorly.

looks like everyone bought just dance 4 instead to shed some pounds

did it actually release because it releases on January 10th in the US

bet with ash3336 he wins if Super Mario 3D World sells less than Mario Sunshine during the first three years, I win if 3D World outsells Sunshine's first 3 years. Loser get sig controlled for 3 months (punishment might change)

Do you doubt the WiiU? Do you believe that it won't match the GC?

Then come and accept this bet

Fitness games are done, it's joined rhythm games over in the genre graveyard.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Has it already released? In Japan, the game is only available as a digital download (even in the Wii Fit U/Wii U hardware bundle it's a digital download.) The actual retail package version will be released in February here.

starcraft: "I and every PS3 fanboy alive are waiting for Versus more than FFXIII.
Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Skeeuk: "playstation 3 is the ultimate in gaming acceleration"

Most people probably got it for free through the eShop, the only way we would be able to know if it bombed or not is if Nintendo gives us the number of digital downloads, or if VGChartz could somehow track the number of fitmeters sold, since you need one to get Wii Fit U for free.

I'm a big Nintendo fan and enjoying my Wii U a lot, but this is really what they deserve. It's disgusting how they ignore all third party developers and thinking doing exactly the same as previous gen will give them huge sales again. Now Wii Party U, NSMBU and Wii Fit aren't selling the 20 millions they did first, but even doing lower than Sony's new IP's, it's time for Nintendo to do something about this amateurish approach in the console market

NSMBU  has 3.18mil sales on a 5mil userbase... Wat do you mean? Is it suppose to sell more lol!

OT: I think Wii Fit U is eShop Only so its hard to tell but who cares. Its a fitness game

Never expected any kind of games in the Wii franchise  to sell well  on the Wii U.. This is why I am very surprised Wii Party U sold so well.
