Was he running in the 2000 or 2004 election? Hell no.

If either Gore or Kerry would have chosen not to invade Iraq, then they would have done a better job than Bush.

We were already in Iraq in the 2004 election, and Kerry would not have been able to help it much, thusly why he was defeated much more soundly than Gore.

While we wouldnt be in Iraq if Gore was in office, I dont think he wouldve handled the aftermath of 9/11 as well as Bush did. The man who took credit for the internet and global warming, no thank you.

That's because they use Eurotunnel

At topic@: So just because you have it better than 3rd world countries means you shouldn't criticize your government? What a stupid thing to say.

You should praise the government for what it deos right and criticize it for what it does wrong, not say "Ok, so they wasted billions upon billions on the war in Iraq, but I am not reduced to begging for food yet so keep on wasting".

I'm just gonna ignore this thread...anytime America is mentioned, it just turns into an American bash-fest all day. Because yes, we're all the same and think alike, and our country defines us...so it's all good.

Do you think there might be a reason for that? If you think you are different from the Americans everyone dislikes, aren't you angry?

You've got no right to judge people you've never met...don't tell me who I am. Have you even been to America? It's always fine and dandy to bash American people without considering that 300 million people are not hive minded, and are decent people. I don't go bashing Polish people for being stupid.

I don't like the stupid people in this country, but you've apparently never been around a decent community, of which there are probably more than you realize. We don't all get drunk, watch Nascar, and beat our wives.

Sure I'm angry about the stupid choices our government has made...that was before I could vote, and literally could not do anything about it. I'm more angry at people who make assumptions about a mass of people...it's called discrimination and it's bullshit.

Whats funny is that not all people who watch Nascar are redneck wife beaters. So you yourself has just made a cultural generalization. You are no better than he is.

I didn't say rednecks, but I will now.  We're not all rednecks and wife-beaters...I'll leave Nascar out of it.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

The supreme idiocy of the entire letter is this.

First all those wonderful services are civic and local. The federal government has little to no impact upon them. I pay local taxes for my law enforcement, emergency support, fire department, and local agencies to help secure employment. I vote annually on who holds the positions to see that those services are rendered. My family annually donates funds to such groups as the fire department, and the local highway patrol. My local government works very well thank you very much. Don't give a worthless president credit for things he didn't do, and has had nothing to do with.

You know how you stimulate an economy you use public funds to pay for public works. There is so much infrastructure in disrepair it would serve a public good, and more people with jobs always raises the average standard of living. That makes the work place more competitive. Encourages employers in all fields to try and retain their best employees, and to do that they pay them better which encourages other workers to work harder. Oh my god its a vicious circle people working hard to improve their circumstance. They generate more money which means more taxes which means more public works.

You know what the end result would be better paved roads, urban renewal, better sanitation, and more noble endeavors that raise the human spirit. Oh hell give them a couple more bucks to buy a couple hookers and a quart of Jack Daniels. That will make it all better. Tax cuts don't cure economics. Economic development cures economies.

The economy wasn't that bad off before he came into office. We had just gone through eight years of boom it was bound to slouch a little, but he was happy enough to say the R word on the campaign trail. When public officials say things like that ignorant people specifically the ones that vote for them stop spending their money as freely, and thats the kind of thing that starts a recession.

The man is a Nimrod thats all there is to it. He can't take credit for these positive things. He can order troops and sign his name on a piece of paper, and not signing a piece of paper can't cause something to happen. Unless it is a spending bill, and then governmental agencies shut down.

He isn't stopping terrorism, he is one of the leading breeders of terrorists. He couldn't even wage an effective war if he tried.

First of all, Gore never said he created the internet. Media's to blame for that.

Secondly, what the hell do you mean he took credit for Global Warming. He took on a cause, and the problem gained more coverage because of him.

And yes, I think Gore would have done a better job. He did win the popular vote.

who do you think could have done a better job? Gore, Kerry?

I would have Bush over any other bastard who ran against him.

Gayness is wrong.
Abortion is wrong (except for rape). You shouldn't be Fucking if you're not married (especially if you're under 18). And if you are, you should be able to face the natural consequences.

I'm glad he is a moral president (unlike the last democrat we had in the White House as president.

Democratic supporters are never fuckin happy. If you want change, wait for the next election. Don't bitch and bash. It is impossible to make everyone happy.

If Kerry had won the election, we would be DUCKING BOMBS RIGHT NOW. HE WANTED TO NEGOTIATE WITH AL-KEIDA YOU CAN'T NEGOTIATE WITH TERRORISTS, DUMBASS.

gayness is wrong so is abortion? Now you bring in that it fucking is wrong?

Im under 18 and ive had sex, and guess what no consequences. Just because your beliefs state this does not mean they are right, you are completely intertwining religion and politics, not everyone has the same religion of you.

Moral is a relative term. Who says he is moral when we go into iraq for oil when you have starving children all around the world, and you have REAL countrys that are REALLY under dictatorship.

ROFL at the kerry comment, you have your head way to far up your ass my friend.

If you have to rule out religion, science can still that prove most of those things are wrong.

1. The Origin of the species show that gays are not meant to survive, because they rarely (if ever) reproduce. (survival of the fittest)

Ok.... i still cant believe you brought science into this, you know that we have plenty of non gay people out there that will keep the population up! If your not talking religion who are you to say that two people should not love each other if they cant reproduce. Plenty of non gay couples decide not to have children it could be no different.

2. Abortion, hm... well, for one,

    A. Most forms of abortion force a woman to no longer be able to bear children. and for 2

    B. You are killing your own young. That is a sign of insanity.

Abortion can also save the lives of alot of teenagers and rape victims. Abortion can also lead to stim cell research, but then again bush VETOED that as well didnt he. Its not really killing your young at that early of a stage

3. Underage sex... Humans' sexual organs are not fully developed before 18, and just because you had no consequences YET, doesn't mean your partner didn't, and it also means that you may still end up with consequences. It can take up to 10 years for STDs to start producing symptoms.

Yea let me tell you, since we were both virgins those stds will come a rolling. Ever heard of safe sex? Im doubting if you even got some as a teenager or could have.

Now For the Common Sense Section:

1. Last I remember, We went into Iraq for a potential threat to National security and Nuclear weapons (Weapons that were believed to be given to them from the US during the Cold War) I highly doubt we went in for oil. Iraq WAS under a dictatorship. That's why he could do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. He killed thousands, if not millions, in the worst ways possible. I read an article about how he gave his son a person to execute, and they put him through a woodchipper, head first, and apparently, he knew about it, and didn't care.

You understand they went of false intelligence which they knew was false. Ive read so many danm reports where they knew that there were no weapons and they knew that they had their facts WRONG. Whats a threat to national security when they dont have weapons. And trust me oil was a big deal its not hard to see. You do understand that Africa is going under far worse dictatorships currently, why the hell are we not their and rescueing them? O yea cause they dont have oil.

2. My head is perfectly far out of my ass, or else I wouldn't have seen the Bush-Kerry debates, where Kerry said he would try to negotioate with the terrorists.

I just watched americas funniest moments Heres a moment from Bush

"You know that phrase "fool me once, shame...... errr shame.....err... shame on me once... uhhh... well just you cant full me twice"

Heres another moment, where bush is done with his speech and walks off the stage and finds the doors locked cause he went the wrong way.

Seriously, Think twice before just assuming that I was just talking about religion.

Your science sure as hell doesnt work.

Eh.  Gore has good reason to take credit for the internet.  He didn't literally invent the thing.  But he did do more than any other government official in pushing it and making it mainstream.  Without Al Gore the internet would not be what it is today.

He didn't create the internet, but he was pretty much responsible for it being what it is today.

Well he said that he "Took the iniative in creating the internet" of course he didn't mean he invented it... he meant he took the iniative to make it what it is today...

which he did. In a way he created "this" internet.

Bush just took it out of context, and a bunch of idiots started believing it.

I agree with the basic premise of the article. People have alot less to complain about than they let on.

And as far as this, "Americans Are Stupid Har Har" thing goes....

Quarter of Brits think Churchill was myth: poll

LONDON (AFP) - Britons are losing their grip on reality, according to a poll out Monday which showed that nearly a quarter think Winston Churchill was a myth while the majority reckon Sherlock Holmes was real.

The survey found that 47 percent thought the 12th century English king Richard the Lionheart was a myth.

And 23 percent thought World War II prime minister Churchill was made up. The same percentage thought Crimean War nurse Florence Nightingale did not actually exist.

Three percent thought Charles Dickens, one of Britain's most famous writers, is a work of fiction himself.

Indian political leader Mahatma Gandhi and Battle of Waterloo victor the Duke of Wellington also appeared in the top 10 of people thought to be myths.

Meanwhile, 58 percent thought Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's fictional detective Holmes actually existed; 33 percent thought the same of W. E. Johns' fictional pilot and adventurer Biggles.

I don't want to answer most of your points, you're too ill to argue with you. But this one:
