Exactly what the title says. How much do you think the Wii U's big games of Holiday 2013 will sell, both in 2013 and lifetime?

In rough size order, these are my guesses for both Nintendo and 3rd party games from September to December:

• Super Mario 3D World - 2.5 to 3 million in 2013, 7 to 8 million lifetime
• Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze - 1.7 million in 2013, 4 to 5 million lifetime
• Wii Party U - 1 million in 2013, 3 million lifetime
• Watch Dogs - 1.2 million in 2013, 4 million lifetime
• Wind Waker HD - 1 to 1.5 million in 2013, 2 to 3 million lifetime
• Sonic: Lost World - 0.8 million in 2013, 2 million lifetime
• Just Dance 2014 - 0.5 million in 2013, 2 million lifetime
• The Wonderful 101 - 0.6 million in 2013, 1 to 1.5 million lifetime
• Skylanders Swap Force - 0.6 million in 2013, 1.5 million lifetime
• Call of Duty Ghosts - 0.4 million in 2013, 0.7 million lifetime
• Rayman Legends - 0.3 million in 2013, 0.5 million lifetime
• Batman Arkham Origins - 0.3 million in 2013, 0.5 million lifetime
• Assassin's Creed 4 - 0.2 million in 2013, 0.5 million lifetime

Yeah, I know I'm pretty optimistic/pessimistic about certain titles. But hey, I'm an amateur.

What are your thoughts?

I agree with what you say mostly, but I think Watch Dogs is too high and Wii Party too low.

How much do you expect the WiiU to sell until years end ? This will be an important question.

You have too many 1m sellers IMO.
Certainly Watch Dogs won't do that much, it has 6 SKUs.
Assassin's Creed 4 and Batman are too low on the other hand.

Agreed - watch dogs is way too high and Just Dance is way too low

As a general response, I'm personally expecting Watch Dogs to be a huge hit, ala Assassin's Creed back in 2007.

I expect the Wii U to sell a total of about 9 or 10 million consoles throughout 2013.

I have little hope for Batman and Assassin's Creed. Their current Wii U iterations spark little hope.

I'm predicting a "Nintendogs" effect for Just Dance 2014 and Wii Party U. They'll do decently, but their time is past.

Their biggest seller would probably be 5M lifetime.

Considering how the GameCube only sold 21 million units and had three such games, I'm expecting better.

That was over the whole life of the Gamecube. You're assuming that 2/3 of that number is going to happen during 1 holiday season.

lol @ Watch_Dogs, otherwise decent. wouldnt be shocked if Mario sells a bit more LT and not sure how WW HD will do. HD remakes have never sold amazingly but this is possibly the biggest of them all (at least up there with MGS, Halo and FFX/X-2)

When Watch Dogs becomes the biggest new franchise of the 8th gen, you'll all come to respect and fear me!
