Hmm, I'm glad that its finally being announced, it was long in the coming. I'm worried though, the main focus will likely lie on consoles, meaning a bad UI and only okay-ish controls.
I also fear for the gameplay, the purebred stealth and slow and meticulous style that the Thief series is built upon and that sets it apart from other games is bound to be forced away for a more fast paced action oriented style with more emphasis on antics and "cool" mechanics, takedown animations and perhaps even QTE's.

I want this game to be a good Thief game, so so badly but I know in my heart that this won't be the case.

Not overly impressed by those screens but still this just reinforces the chance of ps4/720 having the best 1st 12 months we've ever seen for new systems.

meh, since thief 2 kept crashing on my pc i lost interest in the franchise.

really?  too young or why? thief 1 and 2 were awesome when they came out
