I bought Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed yesterday and having played it for about 8 hours I must say: this is really a quality title for the Wii U. I know there's not a lot to play on the console yet but I have not heard anyone about this game. Why not? Mario Kart Wii has sold tens of millions and has many fans, but this game is at least as enjoyable as Mario Kart Wii is.

The controls are really tight, the course selection trumps any Mario Kart and visually it's one of the prettiest games I have ever played. The only negative I have so far on this game is the framerate, which ranges between 24-30 fps. I would have loved 60 fps like Mario Kart, but ~30 fps does the trick just fine.

Anyone else playing this awesome game?

I hate the controls of the boat sections, they are a nightmare :/

meh played the demo liked when i was in the cart...the boats and flying stuff i hated therefore i chose not to purchase the game

It looked pretty good on the trailer. If MK8 doesn't release this year then this game could really hold me off. (Once I buy a Wii U.)

Are there a lot of people racing online? How is the online portion of the the game? How is the offline portion of the game? Sell me on the game, Chrizum.

hmmm I really wanna get it for the ps3 but I see a few people complaining about the flying....Is this problem on all consoles?

I tried the demo. The main game were good, but the boat sections were a bit to wobbly for my taste. I'm sticking with mario kart :D

Oh yes, it is a good game. and not only on WiiU, I think it is mainly the same on the other platforms it released. I think it can compare to Mario Kart, but sadly it is way less popular. That will not change that much. I think Nintendo waited with Mario Kart to give Sonic racing a chance to shine. But it seemingly doesn't work. Sadly.

Another thing: I would love a new Sonic R. So no driving karts - running.

quoted for truth plus sliding is also a nightmare, and the changing courses are too, and items/weapons are laughable...the game is a disaster, the only good thing is grafix (!?) I would rather have MK7 HD instead of this mediocre rip-off
