The game is a masterpiece and I'm really surprised it hasn't gotten more 10s.  This isn't meant as a slight to other games, there have been some pretty amazing ones released so far this year, but this one really brings its genre to new heights and just offers so much that it's hard to imagine it being topped anytime soon.  I used to roll my eyes at people declaring a game as Game of the Year when the year wasn't even half over but I really think this game will garner many GotY awards.

I'll say what I always say in these threads; Starcraft II.

I dunno, we've still got a lot of blockbusters coming, including the infamous Zelda Wii...

Although I said it was going to be GOTY two months ago (lol), it's great to see RDR getting some love.

Don't forget little PC game named Civilization V. =P  If nothing else it will be my personal goty.

This game isn't really on my "must have" list but I'll check it out. You tend to know your stuff, Legend. I doubt it'll be game of the year, though. To many other beloved franchises that will have familiarity going for them.

I think Mass Effect 2, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Halo Reach, or God of War III are in front of it. And like I said, for no other reason than the fact that they're popular and familiar franchises.

Nah, Mass Effect 2 is going to be where it's at if you ask me.
