A man who believed everyone he met was his true friend that wouldn't hurt a fly, litterally probably get into an ethical conundrum over the hurting of a fly. If you have no empathy for Autistic people who display behaviour or say seemingly hateful things out of hand, you have not only been around the people who think they are autistic but aren't or are extremely high fuctioning and if you do, you're heartless, examples of things said such as "You have down syndrome, I notice your nose" or "Are all Nigerian people as stupid as yourself" are paraphrased things from the mouth of someone truly autistic who didn't know they were and autism gets better with age as the person learns social norms and the very negative aspects like being severely anal or focused on what's factual or emtional meltdown fade as time goes by. Severe Autism needs to be handled with anti pyscothic drugs in the modern age in civilizaied societies where we don't lock people up anymore and people live in the community. Remember these that I quoted are completely innocent things worded very badly that would get someone afflicted would be prosecuted under these laws if the person in the vicinity FEELS a level of offence. Intent matters and these laws ignore intent. Now most judges do two teir justice for minorities like I mentioned if not openly then subconsciously or by common sense but then you get some judges who are anal or poor in their judgement or perhaps TOO fair in their rulings. 

If you don't know the plight of severely autistic people trying to live outside of mental institutions in the modern day please look up the man who recently was killed by police while begging for his antipyscothic medication to calm himself down while he was melting down or go to your local day care center and volunteer every now and then if they do that sort of thing, you'll know exactly what I mean after a few days of it.

No one is pushing for illegalizing rude comments or something. 

You're imagining a bizarre set of rules and punishments for vague crimes. The people on the left are not advocating for these things.  In the real world, the people who you think are advocating for free speech, would be the first to punish people for any kind of neurodivergence. 

But they are (The governemnt, not the people), the laws are so wishy washy and open to interpretation concerning hate speech, have a look at the one that they tried to pass in Ireland but it wasn't voted in and I never said anything about left or right, we don't have your left or right where we come but a majority of people who live in the middle and can choose from all issues independently of one another and trust me, we despise the extreme right more than the extreme left here but you make something out of what you're given without destroying it and personally I always vote as what you would see as left here, we have one party that would be considered right and they are a joke who always fail. Have a look at what people have been prosecuted in Germany for on what other feel of their as you say rude words and litterally just that rude words that offended someone. Perhaps look into what you are defending, please, so many won't do it and group think these insane restrictions on living onto everyone else. Again, you're stuck on this us versus them mindset when it should be us versus the powers that be stepping over the line.  

As for laws on restrictions on information because of a war in another country no less, well that's not any less deserving of being thrown out because it is one more step just like the laws I mentioned above towards tyranny. 

I like what a satirical site online had as a faux headline "German man in jail for a meme sure wishes the EU can stop Russian tyranny".
