Well, which games does the iPad have? i don't understand that fixation on hardware, as you play games not hardware. Sure, better looking games powered by a better hardware may be superior. But then the comparison with the iPad would fall flat, because still: which games does it offer? Play Hearthstone with less power drain on the hardware?

Civilization VI, Civilization Revolution 1 + 2, X-COM: Enemy Within, Rome: Total War, Tropico, Baldur's Gate 1 + 2, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment, Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition, Titan Quest, Bastion, Fortnite, GTA III, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, GTA Liberty City Stories, Max Payne, Rayman Jungle/Fiesta Run, Oddmar, Life is Strange, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, The Room series, République, Ace Attorney 1 - 6 (best versions of these games), Ace Attorney Investigations, Professor Layton 1 HD, Layton's Mystery Journey, Ghost Trick HD, Hitman GO, Lara Croft GO, Deus Ex GO, Gorogoa, Oxenfree, Framed 1 + 2, Monument Valley 1 + 2, over 50 Telltale Games episodes, hundreds of good Point'n'Click adventures...

Most of these games without micotransactions, well suited for touchscreen input and profiting from the big (compared to Switch) and highres display.

So fine, now we have a basis. Quite some of these games are on the Switch too, and while you make screen comparisons, the Switch always has a bigger and better screen available. The poster I answered to had brought up the power of the iPad. Now, let's compare the real games, Civilization VI, FF XV Pocket Edition, Titan Quest, Bastion, Fortnite, The Room, Gorogoa, Oxenfree, Telltale Games, hundreds of good point-and-click adventures - how does the hardware improve the games over the Switch versions? You could make this point regarding PS4 or Xbox One, they have improved game experiences over the Switch, for instance Wolfenstein or Doom. But the iPad? That was really the point I am making. Just putting some specs out there does nothing for me as a gamer, as long games aren't utilizing this power. I actually don't see it for mobile platforms. The actual upside for mobile platforms is, that it is hardware you have bought anyways, for other uses. You have not to put money on the line for a device only used for gaming. But the specs are doing nothing in this case to make it a better gaming platform.
