I still think the 360 has all the games although I'm not buying another 360 since I owned two and they both broke but things are getting better and better on wii definitely thanks to highvoltage but their only one company and for now they only have 2games for 2010 but for the most part all the other 3rd parties are just publishing profit or 7/10games usually at best and I'm tired of rail shooters know matter what they score out of 10 and I'm tired of ps2 ports and I still see ps2 ports popping up and now even nintendo is guilty of gamecube ports and I'm not liking that at all......... I only own a wii and yes I like it and NO it is not collecting dust but when I go to gamestop I'm not even nearly close to making a purchase or even seeing anything I think is worth paying for, and with most of these good games coming out I have a complaint with most of them............

the new (street fighter) game doesn't go online like the recent one on 360 does, resident evil: dark side is a rail shooter, dead space wii is a rail shooter, Madden 2010 isn't using wii speak although every madden on 360 uses a headset cod5 sucked on wii and it was a great game on 360, every 3rd party just keeps on ripping wii owners off plus redsteel 2 doesn't even have any kind of multiplayer and the list could go on with how let down all this makes me but I'm still sticking to my wii regardless............

This is some truth. I expected my wii software to get the same love as 360/PS3 games when I bought it. I still only own a wii but I've played my friend's 360s. So much potential that is only finally starting to be realized.

MH3

LKS

SMG2

And those are just the big hitters. Finally. Thank god finally.

Yeah those are some pretty good examples of developers giving some effort but here's a few more:

Tales of Graces

Red Steel 2

Arc Rise Fantasia

FFCC: The Crystal Bearers

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

Cursed Mountain

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

I was thinking of doing that myself and I would have also only mentioned NSMB Wii and let it be. Great job, noname2200.

Is this an indirect confirmation that noname2200 is your alt account? Hmm, how do I go about tricking "noname2200"? I've got it!

noname, what do you think about Boom Blox?

Big fan. Ditto for Chrono Trigger. And Little King's Story is the best game EVER.

Majora's Mask was released on VC this year so, duh.

That's just the Scotty Pippen to NSMBWii's Michael Jordan.

What would be the Dennis Rodman?

Overkill: there's a lot of quality there, but you don't want to introduce it to your parents.

Does "indisputably" mean that it's in dispute?

Hmmm.

No offence to my fellow Wii fans, but 2009 is far from the year of the Wii. NSMBW may be a knock out punch but Microsoft has Halo:ODST that is an equal knock out punch. I'd say 07 was the year of the Wii. This year I think is another year of Microsoft with the likes of Halo:ODST and ModernWarfare2 the 360 earns this right hands down.

Next year will be interesting though, Galaxy2,Pikmin3, Metroid:TheOtherM New Zelda and who knows what other new software Nintendo will announce for fall 2010. But of course Microsoft will have Natal and Sony will have their Wiimote so who knows who's year it will be.

Another year of Microsoft? I didn't know they had a year of Mircosoft in the first place... 2005?

OT: This is going to be a great Christmas for the Wii. MH3, Mario, WSR, The countless soccer mom titles... It'll still win the year.

I'm confused. I have been told that it is the year of the ps3,X360, and now the Wii. Who should I believe?

Chinese zodiac says 2009 is the year of the Ox. I'd believe them.

Ox will outsell PSWii60DSP combined!

The Wii doesn't count in the console war. That console is in a league of its own.
