I was just thinking about The Conduit and whether I am going to buy it or not. The reviews are a bit meh, it looks generic to me and whilst I like FPS, this doesn't look like one of the greatest ones out there.

But I will buy it, the same reason I bought No More Heroes, De Blob etc. because the system needs these 3rd party games and I feel that I am "doing my bit".

Is this wrong? Am I alone?

And maybe this is for another thread, but is the quality of Wii third party games as good as the Gamecube ones? Personally I think not (RE4, Rogue Squadron and Viewtiful Joe are three games that are to me, head and shoulders better that what we have had so far)...

Let's put it this way, I didn't buy Madworld because I don't even like the concept.

I did it the first time with Zack and Wiki, but really, if I didn't want them why would I care if they kept being made?

I bought games i want to play, and many 3rd parties game on Wii easily able to meet my expectation.That's all. :D

but don't most "fans" care? There was such a moan when 3rd parties didn't sell well on GC.

I only buy games I want to play. Those are the ones I support...

Aren't we supposed to download hardcore wii games and use it with our modded wii? So that we still can complain about hardcore games on the wii bombed... Cause that's hardcore right? ...right? ;)

Anyway.. Why would I buy games that I actually don't want? That's expensive....

if your buying them only to do your "bit", but at the end of the day don't like the game, then YES it's WRONG!!!!

Just remember, the point of games is to have fun and enjoy it regardless of the console....simple as that.

Eh, I buy games because I think I'll have fun with them. Unless they're rare and then I buy to collect.
